Title Pending

Your fingers interlaced with mine,
Just like our souls are intertwined,
Your lungs filling with air so sweet,
Our bodies interchanging heat,
The way your lips taste in the rain,
The slightest hint of cheap champagne,

The haunting scent of your auburn hair,
Your pale shoulders naked and bare,
The way your eyes gleam in the light,
The way I held you close at night,
The warmth of your breath inside my ear,
My thumb, your check, a lonely tear,

Your voice still on the telephone line,
The packages in paper and twine,
Your sweater that still reeks of sin,
And every back seat we’ve been in,
The love letters you never received,
The son we accidently conceived,

I've never written a blog before, but I've been meaning to write more.  I figured I might as well write about the things that interest me.  I'm not simply going to write about beer, music, and literature.  Film, philosophy, theology, psychology, restaurants, recipes, bars; I'll write about just about anything, and probably toss in poetry, short stories, or prose that I've written if I think its any good.  I may sound crass in some of my posts, and I very well may sound full of myself or heady in others.  I apologize.  Thats about it, tell your friends, comment, tell me what you'd like to hear about.  I'm going to do my best to post often.
